Invocaciones boleras or the dance of the dispossessed is born from the desire to investigate dance in two directions.

On the one hand, the language of the traditional "bolera" school (a term borrowed from the experimental dance of Argentina in the 60s) interpreted by contemporary dance bodies, and on the other, the concept of invocation declaring a willingness to approach the invisible and the innumerable that is contained in dance.

From an artistic and performative point of view, this project (conceived as a process) focuses on the body itself understanding it as a container of materials, experiences, memories, archives, policies, histories, and addresses the transmission of dance around the writing, the circulation of thought and the imaginary of new possibilities towards a dance of the future.

*This project is developed in collaboration with the artists Esther Solé Alarcón and Derek Van den Bulcke, and with new guests who are about to come.
