Lyrics for a friend is a choreographic and musical project created by six hands and performed by two bodies and voices.

Paula Ramis, Magalí Camps and Júlia Miquel immerse themselves in the dynamics and constructions of scenifications of musical concerts. Through their different formats and genres, they extract the gestural complexities, social conventions and choreographic conventions that are established on stage. The project delves into the staging of concerts and musical events, exploring the frontality of these performances and playing with concepts such as in/visibility and the cinematic and dramaturgical aesthetics of the stage. Lyrics for a friend proposes a new look at stage and musical elements through resources such as synchronization, distortion and resonance, using the body as an expressive vehicle.
