Sounds of the Other is an investigation that explores how sound can intervene in the body and shift its presence on stage.

The piece takes as its starting point the idea of metamorphosis understood as a physical process that traverses the body, with sound itself being the mechanism that activates this transformation.

The project draws on practices inspired by cinematic foley and attempts to transfer the manual creation of sound to the stage. In this context, sound does not accompany the action, but acts as an agent that alters the relationship between what is seen and what is heard, readjusting the viewer's perception and opening up new interpretations of movement.

The research focuses on the emergence of unstable corporealities, close to the animal or the non-human, which emerge as a result of this dialogue between body and sound. Sounds of the Other is thus conceived as a laboratory where the sonic, the corporeal and the cinematic intersect to generate states of transformation.
